A project on data visualisation for the Paléo Festival
Description
Paléo Festival is the largest and most beloved cultural event in our region, so my partners and I chose to explore its history through a data-driven lens for our web data course.
The platform lets users dive deep into the festival's history through immersive visual storytelling: an interactive timeline of past editions, circular charts tracking the evolution of music genres, and a color-palette analysis of the official festival posters over the decades.
My role
In this project, my first job was to transform the raw data available on Paléo's official website into a json file that could feed all the data to our new website. I then designed the user interface wireframes using Figma to create a high fidelity prototype.
Then, we I coded the homepage and my teammates coded the remaining pages.
